Much time has past since Barbara (Varvara in greek) has know what it is have Christina as her mother. During the short time that Christina was able to visit Barbara, a mother daughter bond was not able to be fully re-established. Emanuel, Varvara's father has taken great effort to keep Christina out of Barbara's life.
